MD - Quarter final - England took on Asia

The Indians held a light upper-hand over their Japanese opponents. The first set was already nerve racking between these two pairs. The tall Indian players made a good use of their heights to push their rivals backwards. The Nipon fighters did a good job defending their territory but still lost the first one 21/23. It may not be their time at this year’s French Open , after another tough set, the number one seed was eliminated by their Indian challengers at 18/21!

It’s the new record for the British at the French Open: they beat the Chinese opponents 25/23, 21/10. Very tough first game. Both pairs tested on each other for more potential chances to break through. LANE/VENDY ’ progress was so obvious: they were constructing an unbreakable bastion. The Chinese played a good first game but they did not manage to find their way through. First head-to-head win for the English, hope to see more good performance tomorrow.
