WS - Day 3 : all you want to know about the battles between the best Asian and European players…

To TAKAHASHI  or to OHORI ? That is the question…

Is it early for the Japanese fans to see their two best players play against each other. And Intanon did not slow down ,  21/12 ,  the Thai safe to her next round.   «Even if I lost , I would not think it’s too sad. I am already very happy to stay on court and enjoy my life » Said the Thai Number 1 player after the match.

A bit later during the day,  Number 1 seed Akane YAMAGUCHI  took out her Russian rival Evgeniya KOSETSKAYA in   minutes 21/,  21/.   Korean Number 1 AN Seyoung downed her Danish challenger Line Hojmark KJAERSFELDT 21/9, 21/7 in only 26 minutes.

The Scottish pride Kirsty GILMOUR got some trouble during her game with Busanan ONGBAMRUNGPHAN, seed Number 8. The Thai young player finally eliminated her opponent  with twice the same score: 21/15,21/15.

The fight between the German Yvonne LI and the Thai Number 2 top player Pornpawee CHOCHUWONG also draw much of the audience’s attention today. Seeded Number 5, Chochuwong needed no longer than 15 minutes to put an end to the first game. She finally triumphed the whole match quick and clean: 21/10,21/5. She will join other Thai good player Intanon for the next round.

In other matches of the day,  the Indian Pusarla V SINDHU claimed her presence after her match  against the Dane Line CHRISTOPHERSEN.  21/19, 21 /9. Seems another one of the world top players will keep playing tomorrow.

The Indonesian  top player Gregoria Mariska TUNJUNG  lost to  YEO Jia Min from Singapour  21/19, 21/8.
